Region Special is looking for a Measurement Specialist in Machine Control
Region Special is one of Skanska Sweden's regions in the field of Road and Construction. We are specialists in foundation, excavation and transport, unloading, and material management. Our operations are characterized by complex projects, advanced problem-solving, and the latest technology in machine control and digital solutions.
Do you want to help drive the development of machine control?
We are now looking for an engaged and business-driven Measurement Specialist who wants to be a key player in developing our operations. In this role, you will have a central position in implementing, optimizing, and developing machine control technology, as well as contributing to making our customers more competitive.
You will be our selling face to the outside by actively contacting customers and building close collaborations. An important part of the job involves interpreting and using technical information to implement and optimize solutions. Additionally, you will manage changes and challenges in our projects.
Your tasks include:
- Being responsible for machine control technology with a focus on creating added value for both internal and external customers.
- Communicating with customers, colleagues, and subcontractors to ensure quality deliveries.
- Driving the rental business for machine control within your geographical area of responsibility.
- Surveying using drones for both internal and external customers.
- The position may also involve the opportunity to participate in the early stages of projects, where design, preparation of as-built drawings, and investigations are part of the tasks.
You will be based at our office in Malmö and travel daily to various projects in Skåne.
Customer-oriented Measurement Specialist with experience in Construction Machinery
We are looking for someone with at least five years of experience in machine control, machinery operations, or a similar role in the construction industry. You possess solid knowledge of construction machinery and their use in building and construction projects. Additionally, you have excellent organizational and administrative skills and a good ability to work in a structured manner.
The position also requires:
- Good understanding of machine control systems and technical solutions.
- Experience working with planning systems and other relevant IT tools.
- Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
- Driver's license (B) and access to your own car.
It is an advantage if you have:
- Experience troubleshooting machine control systems on construction machinery and providing practical help and support to users.
- Post-secondary education in measurement technology, machine control, or similar.
- Experience in sales and business development.
- Experience with SBG Geo and similar programs.
